Does that mean if Jesus was alive today that you'd hate him too?

I am from the deep south. In fact, from the Bible belt. I do not care what color Jesus is. I love non whites and I love Jews. I would love Jesus no matter what his color because he is God's son who died so that we could be reconciled to the Father and have eternal life! Why are you stereotyping all southerners? Whatever color Jesus is does not matter to me. Oh, I have good news for you.......Jesus IS alive! He is sitting at the right hand of the Father. He is to come back and rule the nations! Just thought you needed to catch up on what every southerner knows! Jesus is THE way!

Wow, it's amazing how fast a hate-bait-er can hook more hate-mongers. Please take note, southern states accepted women and blacks as equals before the northern states did. The southern people have always been more tolerant, even though we don't agree with it. Don't believe me?

Then do this:

Walk up to a liberal, and say something conservative (like, I believe tax cuts are good for everyone), then stand back and listen to the hate that comes from the mouth of a liberal. You will be called ignorant, stupid, retarded; you'll be lucky if they stop there. You will be cursed at, threatened, and possibly more.

Liberals will use their 1st amendment rights to the fullest extent, by shouting you down and over anything you have to say. You will not be allowed a defense, right up until you agree with them, then they will call you brilliant, a true thinking person, a mental giant.

Tell me again, who are the haters? Who wants to stifle free thinking?

I don't really know how I would feel.

Right now, I don't judge him by his race or what Americans have turned Jesus into (a white man in a white robe). I just see him as a savior. But, if he came to where I live and started to preach to me, I really don't know what I'd think...most likely I wouldn't follow him...which makes me more thankful that he came when he did.

What is your problem with Southerners that you keep coming up with these questions. Do you have an inferiority complex when it comes to people from the south?

They have changed Jesus into a European and forgotten about his being a Jew who celebrated Passover and therefore feel free to hate Middle Easterners as much as they want.

Funny, most of the really hate filled "questions" on here are from self-righteous "tolerant" folks such as yourself.

Was born in the Deep South, and don't really know anyone who feels this way, but whatever makes you feel better about yourself.

Try yoga - all that hate isn't good for you.

You might try addressing this brilliant question to "Minister Fharakan", if he's still around. He's probably one of the only southerners who hates jews.

Lol, I see the lib southern strategy is still in effect. Insult a whole group and surely they will vote the way I want. But seriously, most southerners recognize that Jesus was probably not a white fella, not many in that region are. His race is not important, the fact he died for our sins is.

Jesus is alive today and on this earth, and you will meet him in the near future. The same goes for Southerners as all other humanity, accept The Lord or die eternally. It would also do you much good to reject your president, as his fate has already been determined.

Southerners are famous for denial: the 'War of Northern Aggression', the Emancipation Proclamation, the civil rights acts, high school diplomas and GEDs. If you have a 5th grade educated civil war re-enactor who hates blacks, loves Jesus (only a white Jesus, mind you) and believes that only white men deserve rights and priveleges, you're one of the Good Ol' Boys!

Though I am not a christian and do not believe in him, I wonder what would happen if he did return, incognito. I'll bet he would see plenty of hate by those who claim him as their savior, messiah and 'personal friend'!
