We'll keep this simple.

Man + Woman = Marriage

No exceptions.

I think gay marriage should be allowed. I think it's stupid for any one of us to think we have the right to tell a perfectly responsible, law abiding citizen what they can or cannot do.
I think one day in the not-so distant future our children will look back on these debates the same way we look back on the Civil Rights movement.
I believe in freedom for all and I mean it.

I think we should abolish marriage altogether and everyone should have a civil union, so as to not discriminate against anyone. Ok, not really. I think anyone who wants to marry anyone else should be able to do so. The same should be true for people who just live together, having made a commitment to stay together. Can't we all stop judging others and concentrate on our own issues for a change?

yes. although i think civil unions are the best bet. comprimise you know. i think that if we are all supposed to be equal so people that are homosexual should have equal rights to get married or be in a civil union. it's the same as saying people of different races cant get married. so yes i support gay marrage but i think that civil unions are the closest thing we can get at the moment. also i dont think we should tell a church what marrage to scanction so if the church lets them get married great. if the recoginzes it to great. if it's on or the other great as long as someone recognises it.

I think marriage as a lawful union should be allowed. I don't think it should be allowed as a religious union, unless the religion allows it. Religions have their own laws that are not governed by a judicial system, and the laws are not and should not be subjected to amend to them.

There is no such thing as "Gay marriage".

Marriage is a union between a man and a woman.

"Gay" used to be some a nice word until the queers and poofs took it over. Now they want to use their perverted ways to take over marriage.

No.

Marriage was set up so a man and a woman could raise a child in the proper way.

I don't care if you are gay and live together, but what is the point of getting married?

The problem with Gays is they are TOO damned gay.

They should be forced to get married and be as miserable as I was for 34 years.

One good dose of that and they'll all become Republicans.

No. I think marriage should be abolished and everyone should get civil unions instead. Civil unions would then provide all of the protections that "married" couples get. Then if two people get "married" it is in the eyes of the church only.

Yes, not only because gay people are human and should have the same rights as heterosexuals. But it would also boost the economy.
