Freshman, Sophmore, Junior, Senior

There's Homecoming which is usually around October I think and Prom is more towards May at the end of the year. In between dances depend on the school. There will probably be a winter ball and a spring fling and maybe a sadie hawkins dance (which was called Tolo where I went to school).

Freshman, sophomore, junior, senior is the order in high school.

Prom is for JUniors and Seniors only, usually in mid to late May, or even the beginning of June. (unless you are invited as a frosh or sophomore_

Depending on your school, you may have many different dances. You may have "open" dances with other schools each month. Mainly every school has a "homecoming" dance in October, to celebrate football games/being back in school, and everyone from each grade is allowed to attend. They may also have "Winter Formal" in January, which is just a date dance. You should contact your school to see what types of dances they pffer.

prom is usuallly only for seniors
(and sometimes junior) and is near the end of the year
there is homecoming which is early in the year
and everyone can go
some schools have spring, winter dances and stuff too

and the order is freshman, sophmore, junior, then senior

i hope that helped :]

and just a little pointer
its ok not to go to the dances if ur a freshman
some ppl make it seem so important and spend so much money on it.
but it can be lots of fun with friends

Ok, first of all it goes: freshman (9th grade), sophomore (10th grade), junior (11th grade), senior (12th grade.)

Prom is different for every school, but it is generally in late April-early May. Freshmen and sophomores can't go unless they've been asked by an upperclassman.

Other important dances: Homecoming (anywhere between late September-mid-October, usually)

If you want a really good high school experience, though, just go by yourself to all these dances, or go with a group of friends. Nothing is lamer than being on a date to a high school dance with a dorky, immature high school boy. Cheers!

prom is during your last year of high school (senior) and it occurs mostly before or after Valentine's day.

Important dances include semi-formals, Halloween dances, and all sort of dances that the student body could think of!..lol

the order is Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior
