The Red Sox, because unlike the Yankees, they have pitching. In the end, pitching is what gives teams the edge, and the Red Sox have better starters, and a MUCH better bull pen, the best in the league in fact. Incase nobody noticed, the Red Sox have been able to win 1-0 games all year, their only problem has been that they haven't been scoring as many runs as past years, but when you have the lineup like they do, you will score runs when you need to, that is a fact. On the other side, the yankees have been winning games 9-3, and 13-5. That is all well and good, but what happens, when someone gets hurt, or suspended. Notice what happened when the Rocket couldn't make his start the other day due to his suspension, the yankees had to start a minor leaguer, and they lost 12-0. It is tuff going into games knowing that you have to score at least 5 runs to have a chance at winning. That is why I think the Red Sox will win, because they only need 1 run to win, and in the postseason, everyone on their team gets better. Schilling, postseason pitcher, Papi, postseason hitter. And I think Dice-K pitches much better when the game, or season is on the line. I say Red Sox all the way, and until the yankees have good pitching, it is going to stay that way.

It hasn't yet been 86 years since the last Red Sox title, so the Yankees.
Come on! The Red Sox don't have the pitching, and they don't have the health, and they don't have the heart. The Yankees have them all now.

Red Sox, they have better starting pitching and they have a great bullpen. The Yankees can score runs but as far as pitching they're a below average team.

the Yankees have a hard schedule the next 2 Weeks and i think if they can come at least 3 games from first place of the AL east the yankees have there destiny in there own hands
