Does this mean that the guy like likes you?

Okay my friend ask this guy i had a crush on for a year if he like liked me and he said im not telling you. She asked again and said i wont tell her i promise and he said what ever you are going to tell her. Does that mean he likes me? Or that he doesnt like me and he doesnt want to hurt my feelings? I dont understand it. My other friends say that probably means he does but im not sure if they are just saying that. So i need your help!!

Personally, I think that he suspects you like him, since your friend is asking, and that is enough to make any guy spark an interest. He's a smart boy for not telling your friend, because obviously... she was going to tell you. ;)
I remember whenever I used to hear a boy had a crush on me, or whenever I thought one might, I would suddenly "realize" I had an interest in him too. This is because we like to be liked! Its human instinct :) But I think that if you want to know, this won't go anywhere until you ask him. I recently read in a magazine that a guy's favorite thing a girl had done for him was write him a sweet love note and slip it into his locker. He thought it was cute how she was too nervous to ask him herself, but also adored that she was taking initiative in discovering their potential relationship. Boys often find the whole, sending a friend as an in-betweenist very intimidating and I think he would appreciate if you came straight to him, or in some way let him know your feelings for him. He doesn't want mixed signals, and he doesnt want to play these games, believe me. :) So fess up or give up! Even if you go to him and he says he doesnt like you at least youc an be sure and go on with your friendship rather than throwing all this drama into the mix! :) good luck!

A good rule of thumb when dealing with guys: don't project your emotions onto them. Most guys are pretty straightforward and don't like playing games. (There are exceptions, of course). I'm guessing he likes you some but doesn't want to talk about it because any numb-nuts knows that if you tell one girl that you like someone, everyone knows about it within a nano-second. When I was in Jr. High and High School, I learned real quick that you don't tell anyone you like a girl unless you want everyone to know and for it to be all weird and awkward. Why don't YOU got hang out with HIM and see what happens!

Maybe YOU should ask him, and not use your friend as a middle man. Ask him to be honest with you and that even if he doesn't like you, that your feelings won't be hurt, you're just looking for an honest answer. He may feel uncomfortable revealing his feelings to your friend and might want to talk to you one on one.

i think he might. i had one of my friends ask my crush if he liked me and he said the same thing. he ended up asking me out later on, so i guess he did like me after all! have your friends ask him if he'll say "maybe" he likes you, and if he does that have them say "maybe more towards yes, or maybe more towards no?" .. good luck!
