Oh, what a devastating analogy. Since you mention it, I sat outside, looking at the stars a couple of nights ago, and had to wonder where all the time had gone. I think as we get older, fraught with all our life experiences, we actually do become "wiser", at least about our mortality and the time we have wasted. It is a happy person indeed who does not regret the passage of time. Don't "go home" until you have to...there may yet be more music.
