I have always wondered, what part of the human body creates blood? We lose blood in nose bleeds, cuts etc, so it needs to be replaced, plus we have twice as much volume when we are 18 than we do when we are 13. So in 5 years, the body has created double the blood supply, plus all that lost blood?!

Bone marrow for red and white blood cells and platelets.
Kidney for the maintainance of water and salt levels.
Liver and Spleen remove and degrade old red blood cells.
Endocrine glands contribute the hormones.
The body constantly recycles blood, so the loss of a little in a nose bleed won't make any difference. In fact all the red blood cells in your system are replaced every 120 days. The blood is a tissue made up of red and white cells, platelets, clotting factors, hormones and plasma etc. .
In fact, you can safely do without about a pint of blood before any serious problems occur. So, I would encourage you to give blood whenever you can - your blood could save someones else's life!

The body may indeed have all the ingredients that the others have stated but one of the main items is water. Water is made up of Hydrogen and two parts Oxygen. Life and death are both in the blood. The blood circulates nutrients and toxins throughout the body so be careful about eating meat rare. The Living Word of God tells us not to consume the blood for therein is the life. I don't like to eat meat swimming in blood but, if you do be careful or be afraid be very very afraid.

Blood cells are made in bone marrow, the white stuff on the inside of our bones. Bone marrow begins to create blood cells when the body indicates to itself that blood has been lost and more needs to be made to replace it. That would also explain why, as we get older, we obtain more bone mass and thus more bone marrow to generate more blood cells!

The bone marrow makes up the blood in your body. The specific ones involved in the most production are the flat bones of the hips, long bones, breast bone (sternum), ribs, skull, and spine.
And no, the spleen does not make them. It acts as a reservoir for some components, such as the platelets.

The spleen does up until the fifth month of gestation. After that, it comes from bone marrow. But the spleen still stores platelets in case of an emergency

Blood contains; Plasma and corpuscles.
Plasma contains 96% water and you know where it comes from. The remaining contents include proteins, carbohydrates, lipids etc. Plasma proteins come from the liver, except for the immunoglobins that are produced by the lymphocytes.
Blood corpuscles are produced by the hempopoietic tissue in the bone marrow.
