That is just rank! If I believed in corporal punishment I would have you flogged for that. Of course a general store outranks a private auction.
I knew I would advance rapidly in the military as I took General Arithmetic in High School. For some reason however, the Pentagon didn't agree that this qualified me for an immediate brevet rank of General upon completing OCS.
I was so disappointed. To this day I see stars whenever I hear the word General mentioned!
Thanks for reminding me of this personal tragedy, have you no shame sir?
