The two party system on a national leval is clearly staged so it appears that America is a democracy.
Also 2 partys??????
Hundreds of Millions of people and 2 parties represents the majority of those. hmmmm...that doesn't add up.
This whole media orchestrated liberal vs. conservative is created to divide and conquer and most people are eating it up.
Both Democrats and Republicans clearly have the identical agenda on important issues and use fake stupid wedge issues like gay marriage etc... to distract people from bills that pass such as the one that states Bush will have sole power in the event of a catastrophic event...to be determined by Bush.
You should be more concerned with the possibility of Martial law and un ending wars in the middle east than fake partism politics.

They have been blamed, completely, for buying into Bush's lies, and believing him when he claimed that the cooked intel was all there was, and that he wasn't trying to mislead them.
That was monumentally stupid on their parts, plus they showed political cowardice for not standing up, despite knowing that Bush and Rove would exploit the anger of our citizens as much as possible.
However, that pales in comparison to the people who said "You have to give a certain amount of trust and respect to the chief executive, and you can't assume we'd B.S. this."
Who is to blame more, the liars, or the people who assumed that the liars had a shred of integrity?
The Dems did, indeed, have a pre-9/11 mentality. They still believed that non-partisan, objective government agencies weren't hopelessly compromised by politicization.

All of those worthless congressional people should be fired for what they have allowed to happen. They signed away their authority to debate and declare war. This is their most important mandate and they signed it away.
There is a reason that initiating war is the responsibility of congress. It is so this major decision will be thoroughly discussed, debated, and looked at from various vantage points. Such a far reaching decision such as going into war is too important to give one man the authority to make it.

When you hold your president to task for ignoring the memo giving them notice that Osama was going to attack the USA, and invading the wrong country after 9/11. And stunning conservative, you are one to talk. You are blindly following an admin that has been caught in countless lies.

agree. I am amazed at how many on here seem to believe Bush Declared war. He doesn't even have that responsibility or authority in our government. MZ Clinton, MR Carey, and many other democrats as well as repubs declared war. NOT BUSH.
Congress can stop it anytime they want to.

Liberals are not supporting congress in "droves". Why do you think that congress has as low of an approval rating as dubbya? yes you are right, they were foolish to trust the president; but that was before he proved to everyone how willing he was to deceive the country and its lawmakers. He deserved to be trusted then, i think a lot of people bought the lie about WMD's, and once his lies were found out a lot of people looked foolish, including the people that elected him - twice.

With few exceptions, I don't see that happening. The libs love to make excuses for everything, including rapists, murderers, child abusers.
It's their make-up.

Perhaps if the evidence of WNDs was not manufactured, nether side would have been "fooled" by the Bush Administrations deceptive maneuvering.
