that is exactly what I told my husband last night -weird. I know that if you exercise a lot like athletes it will mess with your cycle. but some moderate exercise along with a healthy diet could only make you healthier & help with stress.

I don't know if you could make your period come faster, but I once went to the doctor because I wouldn't get my period(no I was definitely not pregnant either) and the doctor gave me birth control pills. I took them for five days and on the sixth day I got my period.

If you over do exercise it can stop your period.

I decided to stop trying and went on BC pills. When I came off of them I decided to take it easy and assumed that it would take a while(6months or more) and it happened after 2wks instead. Oops. I really had expected it to take longer since I had no luck in the past.

Depending on the amount of exersize and how much you eat it should be lighter and mabye later.... that is why many girls who do gymnastics have no period, it has to do with the way you work your body and how you fuel it, eat the right foods and dont over exersize

periods will decrease w/ excessive exercise due to body fat ratio. ovulation is many times determined by health & low body fat can mean you are starving & it would be more difficult to conceive.

This only happens when you exercise too much. It's called "amenoria" or the absense of your period.
