the problem can be traced back to Hannity, Limbaugh, and others with similar agendas. They have been preaching to the Conservatives/Republicans for years that Liberals and Democrats are evil and every thing they do is evil. Unfortunately, at some point, these people started believing every thing these hate mongers say. It has torn our country apart and all for the wrong reasons.

the responder directly below me is a perfect example of that. Conservative Hate Radio has people erroneously believing that Liberals hate America. It is completely ridiculous.

Actual news does not use words like "massacred", or "slaughtered", or "brutally murdered", especially in discussions of war. There are deaths. There are victories and losses, casualties and successes. Media has been so liberal for so long that democrats can't tell the difference between a news story and yellow journalism. Also, just because it is written does not mean it is true, and even if it is true, that does not mean the entire story is incorporated. If you have not figured out the difference, then you are the ignorant lemming who believes what ever he is told. There is nothing good reported from Iraq on any mainstream channel, website, newspaper, etc. You ignorant libs really think that nothing good is happening over there, because you are never exposed to stories of good things happening over there. That alone proves that the truth is not being sought by the media.

What we are faced with in this country is a dialog of ideas that can not move forward.

It is encumbered by that fact that one side is willing to accept bad news on face value as absolute truth. As long as it's ugly and negative it's true. That's where all the conspiracy theories came from.
Good news is required to be accompanied by multiple independent sources for confirmation and even when that's provided the sources are condemned as pure biased conjecture by puppets of some secret organization of doom.
The other side is left with trying to speak over the crying by shouting irrational postulations of their own.
A dreadful concurrence of opposites that is intellectual gridlock. The frustration caused by this ineptitude usually degrades into profane name calling and insults.
Boring beyond measure.

Is that the truth that Hillary is spewing which seems to change from day to day? Or maybe its the truth that we get from the New York Times or CNN. Please, most libs wouldn't know the truth if it slapped them in the head, and the few that know what is actually true would never ever admit it. The truth is the aggregate of the facts.

Like, the FACT is that the Haditha murder case is bogus.
Like, the FACT is that all income groups' incomes are rising and that economic mobility continues to improve, and that the economy keeps producing more rich people, rather than that only a handful of rich people are benefiting, somehow at everyone else's expense.
Like, the FACT that as a result of the above, tax REVENUE is SKYROCKETING after the tax RATE cuts.

If Liberals are so interested in the truth why are they so intent on shutting up conservatives. Are you so convinced of your own "truth" you are unwilling to hear someone else's "truth?" This is fact: Liberal Democrats i.e. Reid, Pelosi, Murtha, are invested in our defeat. Their "truth" is about getting elected. They don't give a hoot about our soldiers. They think the president is a lying, warmongering, oil happy, fill in the blank. So when those of us disagree with them, and see him as a decent man trying to defend and protect Americans by taking the war to the terrorists, and they undermine that, we see that as being unpatriotic. Call it what you want, but the only McCarthyism I see in this country comes from the PC Left.

Then answer this. Be honest. Why would one of your glorious leaders say "If the report has good news, it will be bad for Democrats". Not good for America, which is what you are talking about, bad for democrats. What's more shameful is that even after saying this publicly and not denying it, you commucrats still stand with them.
