I knew for a while that this guy liked me, but he never said anything. I guess he likes the fact that i have always been there for him when he had girl problems and such.
Just recently his best friend sent me a message on myspace saying...."What would you say if (he) likes you?"
I really don't know how to respond to that. I know the obvious answer to this is "yes" or "no". I'm not sure really....i just know that we are good friends like it already is.
I need help responding to "i like you."
I don't wanna give a bad reaction or anything you know?

You have to respond to the question honestly. If you are not interested in taking the friendship any further, then you can say that it's nice that he likes you, but you don't want to ruin the friendship. There is nothing wrong with that, and that isn't hurtful. I've been through this before and even when I had feelings for my friend, I stuck with the friendship because that was more important to me then taking a chance of losing it.

first i think you should figure out the answers to that question. do you like him like that? if not right now do you think it might progress to that? you have to know the answers yourself before you can give him an answer. if its not meant to be, then you need to be honest with him and yourself. when it comes up, just tell him its not like that, but that you still want to be there for each other.

well that happen to me and maybe hes having his friends tell u because hes shy or scared hell make a fool of himself
but i would say yes and go out with him it cant hurt to give him a chance

if you don't like him then just say i like you too but not anything more than friends you are a great friend do you understand if you do like him more than friend say i like you too but if you are about to kiss say maybe we should a wait a while to do this its going way too fast .and you just talk and what u talk about isn't my businessthanks hope i helped

Do you like him? If you like him then go for it, if your not comfortable though, whatever your reaction is, it may change the level of friendship

Just say I like you too as a friend. if he wants more and you don't let him know. Don't lead him on.

well do u like him? if u do say yes. if u don't like him like that say, yes i do like you as a friend. this has happened to me before. i said, yes i like you as a friend. he said, i like you more than friends. i said, we are more like a brother sister. of course your friend will be sad, but there will be a friendship still.
