Yes it does, I haven't and won't. If I rent a car and they tell me what it is and it's foreign I make them change it. I have nothing against other countries but I believe in buying American, even though I know most of the parts are made in other countries.

I currently drive a Saturn Ion and it was the perfect first family car. I have also owned a Mercury Capri and a Dodge Shadow. I purchased these cars because they were the right balance of size, efficiency, style and price. I plan to replace the Saturn with a Mazda because there aren't any American cars right now that offer small size and seating for a growing family. If GM offered a mini-minivan, I might check it out, but right now I have decided that Germany and Japan are good at making cars. The US is better at building aircraft. Why is the US so far behind when it comes to cars?

No. First, my Honda is mostly made in the US. That's why it's called "Honda USA". Second, many US cars have parts assembled or manufactured in other countries (Read the sticker). Third, I used to only buy US cars..then I got tired of my car having zero resale value and a short life span. So, when US manufacturers make a quality car minus all the defects, and it's made in the US..I'll reconsider.

I do drive an American car. A Jeep Cherokee. It is my 3rd jeep and I loved my jeeps. If I didn't have it there are times in the winter I wouldn't be able to get off my property. I used to have a Honda though and I loved it too. It is a really good car and it didn't bother me at all to drive it! It did really well in the winter also.

no, I feel smart for buying a dependable car. The liberty secured by the continental army allows me to spend my money as I see fit and protects the free flow of goods and services.

I've done quality for the Americans and quality for the Japanese for automotive. Japanese by far are for schooling and advancing you. I don't want to step on any toes so let me quit right here.......
