Are you a black & white person? In other words, is it right or wrong? Yes or No? True or False? Moral or immoral?

Or do you see things in a variety of gray shades? In other words, there are exceptions and variations to everything.

Black & White example: Murder is always wrong.

Gray example: Murder is wrong, unless you kill someone defending your own life or the life of a loved one.

I'll start -- I see everything in various shades of gray.

I am flexible on a lot of issues and always take the circumstances into consideration but on certain topics such as child molestation I am extremely rightist--I think child molestors must be locked away for life because pedophilia is a disease that cannot be corrected by paying a fine or serving a couple of years in prison. Actually, on that particular issue I am so radical that I would completely support anyone who proposed physical castration for those SOBs.

Life is a shade of gray and that is how I see it. You can never tell how things are going to work out when something happens in life.
