a midget, a trapeze artist, a talking fish, a half-eaten piece of toast, and a land gnome... totally wouldn't see that coming

Kids don't like that stuff anymore... I tutor a bunch of kids from ages 8 to 12 and they are so spoiled! They're always texting and have all these expensive stuff even I don;t have.... The don't appreciate the small things anymore. I had one of those wonderballs (the type with candy inside) and me and the other tutor were sharing it and being all happy and the kids were like "it's not like it's an sidekick"... so spoiled.... The prize at the bottom of the bag of cracker jacks use to be the highlight of my day... kids don't appreciate those small things anymore... *sigh* *edit Honestly, I haven't seen a kid out playing or jump roping in my neighborhood in a while. When i was 10, we use to play out on the block all the time... kids today stay indoors with the computer, PSP and all that stuff They do, however, make paper airplanes (I just had a 10 year old throw that at my head just last week)
