I live in `the sticks` in spain, recently bought a new pc.my mode of phone and web connection is via a `track` phone, which has a built in modem which has to be used.but a serial cable must be the means of connection to the pc, ok on my old pc cos it has various means of hooking up, however my new pc only has a network socket, no modem or serial connections. I fitted an internal modem as a long shot but no deal, pc makers wrongly assume that everybody has broadband or cable. my isp telefonica offer no help at all, couldn`t care less attitude, and the electrical shop I bought from just do the continental thing and shrug their shoulders.
one of you clever `boffs` out there must have an answer to this question, I like to believe that nothing`s impossible
regards
mike

Have you tried using a USB to SERIAL converter? It converts a USB port to a Serial port.

I'm sure you could get a semi-decent connection on par with dialup -- but you would be paying trackfone through the nose with the usage charges. Look into subscribing toa satellite broadband service -- its about $50/month but you'll get a decent connection.

It has each and all of the telephone log information dates/time/minutes suggested as or gained. on the spot Messaging would or would no longer be listed. you may request for the recommendations in on the spot messaging to be placed on the invoice. There are quite a few different the form to verify if he's dishonest on you. examine his pc, Lie Detector application etc. stable success!

it sounds like you want to connect to the internet via a cell phone. well you will need to contact the cell phone provider for pricing on internet plans. your cell phone can only be used as a modem. it isn't much without the transfer data.
