He's the best quarterback the Bears have had in ages, plus Drew Breeshad worse stats in his first year? So why do people hate on him, because I think he's better than these former Bears QB's- C.Hudchinson, Jeff Blake, Chris Chandler, etc., so why the hate?

Brees stats in his first full season were 11 td's, 15 ints, 2000 yd's, and so on. I'm sure nobody knew that

Grossman's stats 23 td's, 20 ints, and Brees probably never got the chance to be 0.0 because he was replaced.

Calill C if he isn't the best Qb Chicago has had in ages then how come now of them are in Chicago right now, plus I didn't put Orton on that list because he was a rookie and he did better than all of them

Good question. He struggled but his team still made the super bowl. He only played one full year. Give him a chance and behind a good line I think he can be a good and possibly Pro Bowl player. Though not likely a Hall of Famer.

Ok, Grossman had better numbers than Brees the first season. But you're comparing somebody who played 3 games with somebody who played 1.
The season before, the Bears won 11 games with Kyle Orton, who is a 3rd string right now.
Brees always showed potential despite his struggles, while Grossman was not capable of staying healthy.

If he is the best quarterback Chicago has had in ages why haven't the Bears moved to another town by now? Rex Grossman wouldn't even make the roster as a back-up quarterback in New Orleans and probably most other teams. He didn't carry the Bears to the Superbowl but instead the Bears carried him. I find it difficult to even mention these two guys in the same sentence.

I dont hate on him. I think people say that becuase hes a young guy. He'll get the publicity in later years. You see Romo? OVERATED. Hes young to and in later years he'll be the most hated guy. As a cowboys fan i am embarresed. They should have kept Bledsoe. Anyways.
Grossman is not consistent. He has like 100 pct pass rate in one game and the next 67pct rate. He'll get consistent in years to come.

just to let you know rex is the first QB to play a hole game and have a rating of 0.0 in NFL history think about it. And also how are you trying to compare a qb thats always injured and still suck when healthy to and elite qb of the nfl.

Drew Brees was never like Grossman. YOU are Delusional my friend. I think you are looking at him like that because you wish he will turn out like Brees.
