I went to an indoor paintball place off Edsall Road north of Springfield a few years ago. I'll check the net to see if they are still there. It was a nice facility, but outdoor paintball is better--you may want to travel west to find a place.
I couldn't find it, they must be out of business. Here's a link to a place in Manassas: www.pevs.com

I was told that the FBI Acadmey has yearly paint ball thing where you get payed so they can train. I'm not sure if this is true because I don't really know the guy who told me but he seemed trust worthy.

I know that there are plenty of fields in manasas. My team used to travel to play up there in pez and manasas.
