In America, YOU BET YOU CAN!!! Here you don't need your husbands permission to do anything! We have our own minds and choose for ourselves what we want! If he doesn't like it we can kick him out or just leave him! It's wonderful here!

Where do you live? In America, you bet they do!

Samantha above me makes an excellent point, though. If the legal contract involves property that belongs to HIM, then no. She needs his signature as well. Otherwise, she is free to do what she wants.

Do you mean, " Are women allowed to sign a legal contract if they have not asked their husband?" By women do you mean "Wife"?

The answer depends on what type of contract. For example, a wife could sign a contract for a cellphone but probably not for a house.

This is America, baby, we can do whatever the hell we want, and if our husbands don't like it, that's tough.

The only time you have to get your husband's permission for something like that is if you are jointly applying for a mortgage or doing something that involves him, like applying for a joint bank account or something.

The fact that you are asking means you took a vow to 'love honor, and OBEY'. His was different-'love honor and cherish' This means your personal honor and integrity is the real issue at hand. Are you able to live with breaking your wedding vows?

Because many women have no such accountability in their natures, they are often viewed with disrespect from the first. Like cattle.
Will you next seek instances where your husband (caretaker) has 'broken his promises'?- A typical maneuver for the irredeemably corrupt woman of today.
