Fun Question!!?

Are you generally an optimist, pessimist, or realist? I have to say that I am more of a realist. I try to think of the reality of any situation before making a judgement. I tend to overanalyze things, too!

Being a realist and over analyzing are mutually contradictory, only neurotics over analyze.

I'd like to say that I'm an optimist but that would be being optimistic, which I am generally not. (Did that make sense?)

Anyway, I'm more of a realist because of how my world affects me; my feet are planted firmly on the earth but I'm always looking up and hoping.

I'm a realist and recognize things for the way they really are. However, upon the realization of the truths of a situation, I try to find the bright side of the facts.

Generally, I'm an optimist. Anyway, this question made me think of an exerpt from the book: Plato and a Platypus walk into a bar...:
Pessimists say the glass is half empty.
Optimists say the glass is half full.
Realists say the glass is twice as large as it needs to be.

usually i'm an optimist. optimists are always so much happier and i feel happy almost all the time. but if something bad happens when i'm in a bad mood then i am a pessimist.

I'm definately a realist.... I look at things from both sides and tend to think the outcome will be a mixture of both good and bad, like most things in life. Shades of grey are usually the outcome.

I overanalyze stuff, too. So I'm always either angry or depressed.

I am a realist, but I absolutely detest overanalyzing anything. And people who overanalyze situations drive me to distraction.
