It can be done! You need to go into the Sounds Settings in "Start", "Settings", "Control Panel", "Sounds and Audio Devices" and go to "Windows Log On" and click "Browse". Find the file you want and click OK. Now save the settings and your song will play whenever you log in.

Arman, why did you copy what I wrote. First you state that you haven't done this, so how do you know? and then you claim to do it all the time? That's puzzling! I would never change my "Desktop Settings" to apply sounds, it's not required at all and serves no purpose whatsoever. If anything, changing settings back and forth only ends up creating problems. If a PC is running happily, you don't change the way it operates.

Yes, just follow these steps:
1 Click on the start menu and then click on control panel.
2 I never got to use the windows XP control panel a lot so I'm not used to it so... Click on "Switch to Classic View"
3 Then doble click on "Sounds and Audio Devices"
4 Click on the "Sounds" tab
5 There is a white box at the bottom where you can look for the exact event you want to assign your song (the box is called "Programs Events") lok for one called "Start windows" or if you want use the "Windows LogOn" and click on it
6 Then at the bottom there is a button that says "Browse" click on it and then look for your song (It MUST be a *.wav file, so you migth need to convert the file format (I think you can do that with Windows Media Player) Select your song and click on the "ok" button.
7 Then click on ok and there you go, everytime you logon you will hear your favorite tune :)

By the way, don't forget to change to XP stile when you are about to leave the conytrol panel.
