I would rather miss the beginning because you can usually catch up as the movie progresses. The end of a movie is sometimes the best part. If I miss the ending of a movie I feel incomplete somehow. I hate not knowing what happened.

beginning. because its more exicting to watch the beginning and keep guessing about whats going on, why things are happening, and whats it gonna end up like. i dont know thats my opinion, bc most of the time i always catch the ending of movies so ive gotten used to it.

If we're talking about missing part of a movie at an actual theater... I'd just go to a later show if I missed the beginning.

I can't imagine why I'd ever have to miss the ending in a theater, unless there was an emergency of some kind. The only other reason I can think of for leaving early otherwise is if the movie sucked.

It depends on the movie...

If the movie is stupid, I would rather (might actually choose) to miss the ending.

If the movie is good, your suggestion is correct. I would rather miss the beginning. However, having missed the begining of a good movie, I have no problem watching/enjoying the movie at a later date even though I would know how it will end.

I would rather miss the ending, because you can always watch it later. If you miss the beginning, you don't know what's going on, and sometimes the end won't make sense. And if you go back and watch the beginning later to make sense of it, you already know how the movie ends, and it ruins the whole experience. Unless of course the movie is Memento...where the beginning is the end, and the end is the beginning...oh...now I'm confusing myself.

The beginning but not by more the 20min.
if it was a good movie and I missed the end I would just spend to much time thinking about how it ended

I agree with you. While the beginning is sometimes crucial so that you know all about the characters, the ending is a must-see for me. The ending usually ties the whole thing together and sums it up nicely. It would be pointless to start a movie if you know you cant see the end.

I'd rather miss the beginning - I hate to watch movies when I don't get to see the ending. Had it happen once when I was babysitting.

The beginning at least you have a chance of getting the film as missing the end you wont know what happened.

The beginning also. Because yes, you can catch up by yourself whatever you missed. But you can never catch up the ending right? Unless someone tells you how it ends. Also, I don't like the feeling of something hanging.

Beginning usually. However, some movies must be watched from the beginning to be understood and sometimes an ending merely pisses you off.
