These are his comments on the subject. It is all code for what I think he is really saying. He is unequivocally pro-life and pro-traditional family opposed to same sex marriage. He is the right wing christian that the liberals say Bush is. He wants to over turn roe v wade and would be happy to censor artistic content.
This guy is out of touch with centrists that make up mainstream America and has no chance to win the presidency so don't worry.
If you have weak families, more government will be created to make up for the loss of family. But the government has stiff arms and a cold heart. Woe to the person hugged by the government.

Make no mistake: we need to invest in our schools, in law enforcement and prison reform. But unless we address the fundamental problem of the breakdown of the family, we are only taking a band-aid approach addressing the symptoms and not the problem itself.

Could you imagine a more dysfunctional family? What the hell can the US Govt do to 'rebuild the family'?
Oh, I see - We need to overturn Roe vs. Wade, outlaw same-sex unions, incarcerate single mothers and send the children to foster care. Then, we can dump our wives and mothers of our children for younger 'trophy' wives (Rudy? Fred? Newt?), alienate our children so that they won't even vote for their own father (Rudy?) and encourage underage drinking in every household except our own (W?). We need to re-establish the MAN as the absolute ruler of the family unit, decriminalize spouse abuse and put women back in the kitchen and bedroom (if the mistress isn't there), where they belong!
My goodness, what a marvelous family our beloved government could rebuild! Count me in, right after I get that frontal lobotomy and get re-programmed by church and government!

Well when you rebuild something, you take it apart and put it back together with new parts.
So....I guess it is divorce the parents, put the kids in foster care, have the parents get remarried to other people and adopt a crack baby.

Stop teaching children about sex in school, give that responsibility back to the parents, teach them what the bible says about fornication and adultery instead.
