Er... why should the 'world' interfere in the destiny of individual sovereign nations ? Are they not free to make their own mistakes as well as sucesses ?
Zimbabwe does not have oil its true, and last I knew they were negotiating with Libya to get some. But they do have coal, chromium ore, asbestos, gold, nickel, copper, iron ore, vanadium, lithium, tin, platinum group metals.

Rhodesia replaced into the bread basket of all of South Africa, Rhodesia produced 20 situations the food required by Rhodesia whilst whites ran the farms, ninety 5% of food produced replaced into exported making Rhodesia a wealthy wealthy state. In present day Zimbabwe anybody is ravenous and scuffling with over farms they at the instant can not function effectively. Envy prevents Mugabe from admitting that white professional farmers with kin farming traditions going back 100s of years have been an excellent asset to Zimbabwe, in reality with out them Zimbabwe is having to permit chinese language "colonisation" by "enterprise deals" which favour China.. The comedian tale is Zimbabwe is colonised back, this time by chinese language government enterprise technique .

Perhaps he should be provoked into having a war with South Africa - that might solve a lot of problems for both countries, actually! Hopefully South Africa would win and then Robert Mugabe can be hanged for his crimes against humanity.
other than that, I don't think anyone can do anything. He has been legally voted in and hasn't attacked any other country.
To those who say it hasn't any oil - that isn't really the point. He isn't a threat to another country. WE need him to be so.

Life expectancy males =37
life expectancy females = 34
Out of every 1000 births, 81 babies die
Continued South Afrtican support of the Mugabe regime
Which country in it's right mind (or group of countries for that matter) would want, or could afford to sort out that mess!

I bet somewhere in some posh sofa someone is contemplating where to send him when it all goes wrong. Look at Idi Amin. He ate his own people and lived out his life in luxury in Saudi Arabia. Same fate probably awaits Mugabe I reckon. But probably not in Saudi Arabia.

After what has happened following our intervention in Iraq it's probably not a good idea to repeat the mistake in Zimbabwe.

Nothing. I ask the same question every time I see his supercilious mug. It's outrageous what this guy has gotten away with now and in the past. People say that Zimbabweans voted him in - really? Well, if I had the fear of a gun at my temple - or being shot in the back, which is more like it - I'd vote for the bastard as well!

Ask Bono. After all he seems to have all the solutions for Africa and would obviously know how to handle this murdering despot.
