I've just seen a news flash on yahoo saying he wants to re-name the London Eye in honor of himself!
A step to far?
I've always thought he came across as a bit of an idiot who loves no one better than himself but i think this is just too much.
I seriously hope they DON'T do it.
Any thought's?

I sawe him once in concert (loads of others there, didnt go to see him) and all he banged on about was |Linda and veggie food
I went off and got a beefburger, he was sooooooooo boring.

Dont like him why should the london eye be honor of himself cause hes a singer he needs to wake up cause hes a singer dont mean hes special hes not special hes got lots of money he should go away and get a life

I think i read that he just wants to rename it for a short time not permanently. Probably for the length of a one off show he wants to do in one of the eyes capsules to promote his new album. Seems a bit of a miserable so and so anytime Ive seem him on TV, but if I had been married to Heather Mills I would be pretty miserable too.

An idiot? Do you write music and lyrics? The man can name anything he wants after himself, he's earned it. He certainly cares about other people - he has done a number of charity albums and performances.

After the truth came out about the Beatles in that John, George and Ringo thought they were turning into a back up band for McCarthy because he would not listen to their input then yes the guy is a pompous a**hole. After the split I never liked Paul's music.

Sounds like a one-off promotional deal. Surely, this cannot be a permanent renaming...I don't get that feeling in the story.

maybe he can join Wacko Jacko - See a little money goes to the head! After he is dead though he will have something named after him no doubt - look at John Lennon (genius in my eyes, but hey) JFK, George best etc, all have airports named after them now -can't appreciate it unfortunately!

I don't think he's an idiot... just a loser that is old and outdated by our modern standard.
