How can I go about getting a franchise license, or is there some type of school I could check out?

If you are interested in PURCHASING a franchise (McDonald's for example) then contact the franchisor.

If you are interested in creating your own company to franchise and then sell the franchise outlets to other suckers [errrr, I mean investors] then you have to get a license from the Federal Trade Commision [FTC] and maybe for each state where you do business.
