No, where as witches, under different names have been around for quite sometime, vampires were patterned after Dracula, which is a reasonably recent book as far as history goes.

Okay, here we go again......
Vampires...ARE NOT REAL!!!!!!! People these days may claim to be vampires and follow a certain set of "vampire" guidelines that someone made up...but they NEVER existed.
Witchcraft is derived from the old practices of herb lore and nature awarewness. People used to honor the seasons, say blessing over teh crops and animals they tended. It was not some secrative, all powerful, mystical, magical practice that would bring you your heart's desires.
Before you claim to be a teen witch dearly, LEARN YOUR HISTORY!!!!!

I think witches in history need to have been given better respect, because they can help mankind. They were wise back then, but those damn religious freaks should have burned themselves because they were a sin against god themselves.....

They have, but only as being evil which is so not true!
Anne Rice puts them together, but that isn't exactly history.
Great books though

Not really. They each seem to stick with their own clubs.
