Diner. Not only did it have a promising Mickey Rourke (if only we knew the choices he would make), but Kevin Bacon, Tim Daly, Daniel Stern, Steve Guttenberg, Paul Reiser and Ellen Barkin in what was a first major role for each of them.

He was good in a few movies , such as Spun, Rumble Fish, Diner, Angle Heart and Once Upon A Time In Mexico.

"Angel Heart" and also the remake of "The Desperate Hours"
I also liked him in a minor role in "The Rainmaker" with Matt Damon. It may also be called "John Grisham's The Rainmaker."

Actually, he was great in at least three very good movies - ANGEL HEART, SIN CITY and SPUN (where he was looking especially hot - in a rough trade sorta way).
