Newton didn't apparently leave any evidence of a Love life. However, he was notoriously eccentric, apparently he would start getting out of bed, when a theory would form in his mind, and he would sit motionless, half in bed as he pondered this. (often for several hours!) So I would probably say there were few women who would put up with this for long! Theres a good reference in Bill Bryson's "A short history of nearly everything"

He was engaged for a short time to his landlord's daughter, when he was 18, but it ended when he went to Cambridge University. Maybe he discovered things with Anne Storer before he discovered what pulls men to the ground, and he certainly knew what happens when you put one and one together. Thing is, he was a man of theory, so it's not certain whether he did any practical work at all.

That is the buzz, and somehow I don't believe that there is anyone now alive who can say yea or nay to its truthfulness.

He was certainly single minded when it came to his theories, and so bad with names he would, on occasion, forget the name of his own brother.

I wonder if Newton is responsible for the stereotype of the absent-minded professor?

He was indeed a virgin but a virgin with a brilliant mind which no one human after him has even come close to his monumental achievements. You could say he'd unique is every way possible.

There is no proof that Newton ever formed any romantic relationships or used other outlets for personal pleasure.

Obviously when the apple fell on his head, it wasn't the head on his shoulders.
