I'm kinda divided.

On the one hand, it's Bush--so you know he's just looking for another excuse to invade somebody and doesn't care whether we have the military manpower available to do it. And you know that he's eyeing those assets to make up cash shortfalls from his tax cuts--even though the government still refuses to release frozen Iranian assets to settle court Judgements won by the Hostages.

On the other hand, anything that keeps Arabs from acquiring more key US assets is a good idea. And the IRG is a major player in the corporate world.

It's bad enough that the Chinese People's Liberation Army aleady owns the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, California.

Strategically, it's not a good idea to let potential enemies BUY beach heads.

I think it's a step in the right direction, but it comes awfully late in the game. Iran has been provoking the U.S. since 1979. We should've gone there and taken out the government when they abducted Americans as hostages back in 1979.

This will have an effect on the Guards, but not enough to make them change their anti-USA policies.

It's only a matter of time until we actually have a war with Iran. By then, they will have nuclear weapons. As long as that government is in power there, they will continue to provoke and confront us. BTW, I believe Iran is linked to Armegeddon.

What Bush really needs to do is a "Marshall Plan" type thing to create alternate energy resources for our country in the fastest way possible. As long as countries like Iran produce oil and we need oil, we are at their mercy. We need to completely wean ourselves from oil. Then we would be in a position to calmly look at the region and assess our real strategic needs there.

If Iraq is any indicator of what going after Iran is going to be like, perhaps we should just surrender now and avoid the massive bloodshed. Bush and company would screw up just trying to boil water on the stove. Just look at the facts. Iraq prior to 2003. Number of WMD's, Zero, number of terrorists in the country, ONE who was getting medical treament. NOW how many Wmds in Iraq? Thousands, OURS, Number of Terrorists? Literally thousands upon thousands and growing every day as innocent Iraqis get killed and JOINT the terrorists in revenge for losing thier loved ones. Meanwhle, Al Qaeda, worldwide, is as strong as it was in 2001. Osama is STILL alive and free to plot, plan and exectue whatever he decides his next target is going to be. BUSH is the terrorist, make NO mistake about it. He's terrorizing Iraq, he's terrorizing Afghanistan, he's terrorizing the entire Middle East, he's terrorizing America and he's terrorizing the entire Planet. The SOONER we ALL come to recognize that the better off we ALL will be. Then we'll have time to go after Osama, the REAL target in all of this mess.

Counter productive policy. labelling an Army of a Foreign country is labelling the country as a whole. Iran is already listed as part of the Axis of evil, so whats new. However, going after the money of the Revolutionary Guard will not help also because iran holds an ace up it;s sleeve like all other Mid-Eastern states; OIL.

Note also that Bush always seems to do the most costly thing during crisis management. Here he is doing the very opposite of the recommendations of the Baker Group advised on Iraq i.e. engage Iran, not provoke it.

I think he and his groupies are headed for a first strike. If we had not already been down this song and dance road with Iraq it might be taken differently.

You gotta love complete morons like BABZ. "If we just talk with Iran everything will be okay." Yea like if we tried talking to Hitler before WWII we could have prevented it. Iran is as evil as they come and should be recognized for what they are.

**** George Bush and anyone associated with him.

Until he puts himself on that list, then the list is meaningless.

Now would be a good time for him to take in a play or maybe take a drive through dealey plaza in dallas....that scumbag
