Improving video for the Internet ?

Ok so I have just got into making homemade videos and set up a myspace page with them but cannot stand the fact that they look impressive in my chosen editing program premiere pro but when u compress them so it is possible to steam for most connection speeds they suddenly degrade in quality

for the life of me I would like to do them to the similar quality you get when your viewing for example a movie trailer I know that movie can afford high end equipment where has my budget does not even stretch to a pack of chewing gum

when I go to you tube they stall in the middle of the little broadcast it is frustrating

hello well you can use filters to improve the quality in virtual dub and google it to get more software and try to make the audion mp3 format for better quality and resize the video for the sites specifications for better quality ok hope this helps
