Most of the Road Runner (TW Cable) systems are 5 meg down and 512k up. Since the upload speed really only matters if you want to run a server they limit that speed to keep servers OFF the system. You can get higher uploads with business service!

I would call your ISP and ask them that question but most Broad Band providers do not gurentee speeds.
