It depends. Refurb phones are phones that had manufactors defect and that were sent to the manufactors to be repaired, Sometimes they work very well, some others they dont. The question you want to ask yourself its if it does come with any type of warranty or if it does not. Cause a refurb phone without warranty is not a good deal at all. It also really depends on where you are getting this phone. If its from someone else or from ebay(and similar sites) deals, I would really not trust, but if its from your company, why not? Just make sure you check any warranty and insurance you can add to it just to be sure if something happens, you will still have a phone.
Good Luck

They can be it depends where you get it from if it is from the phone company yes I have one now and it has been a great phone for almost a year now.
If it is from a web site it is a gamble unless they have a good reputation.
All in All I would say yes.
