Greed is good republicans and conservatives greed is good!

Liberals are spreading this nasty rumor about something called global warming, and they've got all this scientific research with big words and statistics,

well, if they think theres a problem, lets make them pay for it, am i right, huh? greed is good, am i right?

lets elect a bunch of tree hugging liberals, and then we start a company that would sell services to the government like cleaning up pollution, or whatever these liberal tree huggers would pay,

so what do you say, huh? greed is good isn't it? lets just play along with that stuff about global warming is bad and try and make money off of it

greed is good, mmm, money, yes republicans you like money yes?

theres only so many illegal wars we can have to make money off of, by selling government services,

so lets do what haliburton did for WMD and make money off of glboal warming

I hear that the neo-cons of this country are going to start placing big investments in food commodities and big corporations like Kraft and General Foods. Greed yes. Now they will watch their stocks rise as the poor starve to death.

Theoretically, yes, a hybrid automobile is a fuel saver. However this has to be weighed against the additional cost of the hybrid versus the comparable model and the difference in maintenance costs in the long term. Insurance costs might figure into the model, but I suspect that the differences there aren't too far from each other. My guess is that if someone intends to operate the automobile for a long period of time (five years or more), then it is likely worth it, especially with the price of petrol being what it is. Hence, I agree that economics and the environment are not always at odds with each other.

Climate change is real, and nobody has questioned that. The argument is whether it is attributable to human activity. In the last analysis, why does that matter? It is probably not solely attributable to what we are doing, but can anyone doubt that we are contributiong to the problem?

Underlying the problem are the twin malignancies of pollution and overpopulation. The poor planet cannot deal with exploding billions -- billions -- of occupants with an insatiable thirst for raw materials, energy, water, and, of course and ultimately, economic advantage at any cost.

And the politicos argue about such inanities/insanities as gay marriage, stem cell research and abortion rights. Gay marriage should be encouraged and rewarded, stem cell research hurts no one and benefits people with awful diseases, and the question as to abortion is not whether it should be permitted, but whether it should be required. There are already too many people; children are starving and being slaughtered and horribly treated around the world; senseless, destructive wars are being fought over control of precious resources; human rights are in the garbage can; religious nut cases are strapping explosives to themselves and killing anyone that doesn't agree with their version of divine intent; our own government is spying on us.

It was long ago demonstrated that if you put a few rats in a cage, they get along fine. If you put a lot of rats in a cage, they begin to fight and bite.

Yours truly,
Just Another Rat

Actually, there is so much money to be made and so much new technology we can design, manufacture and export.

The only thing that would happen with environmentally frinedly and efficient technology is that the holders of money simply changes hands to new people, ideas and businesses.

And this is the reason it is being vehemently fought - those who control the money now, don't want to lose their power to new entities...

To your point, do read Christopher Horner's book, "The Politically Incorrect Guide (PIG) to Global Warming and Environmentalism." It's a page turner and eye opener.

Greed is absolutely the best means to transfer wealth and power .

When my kid terrorizes yours and takes his lunch money I am proud of him for taking a stand . When he over powers two lineman and sacks your kid hard trying to break his neck to knock him out of the game I am proud of him .

The weak get nothing and the strong everything .
The more wealth you have the more you can stand proud and tall and tell others what to do .
Weaklings must mop floors and clean up others messes and take orders because they rely on us to provide for them .

If we did not take what was ours for the taking the weak would have nothing .

So greed and power are the only thing you must teach your kids .

Without this education they are weaklings to be taken advantage of by others .

Do whatever it takes and never question what you do .
Retrospection is best left for those raised by the weak .

If anyone tries to take what you have got you must fight to the death with them and never allow anyone to get over on you .

I have an idea. We can market two sheet toilet paper dispensers with a timer.

Two sheets every 12 hours. If you need more, tough sheet.
