Or do you think they'll just resort to rogue posting?

I've long suspected the integrity and objectivity of Wikipedia contributors. I try arduously never to cite Wikipedia as a source anymore.

I think Wikipedia has its place. Its a useful tool, but just like Yahoo! Answers, the great thing about Wikipedia is that everyone can contribute. However, the terrible thing about Wikipedia is that everyone can contribute.

Wikis have changed the way that the online world works. I'm getting ready to set up a Wiki for one of my clients now. I think Wikis are part of the great Social Networking experiment now going on throughout the Internet.

Do I think a Wikipedia Scanner will improve Wikipedia? No. Now the Wal-Mart people will run over to McDonalds and use a hotspot to edit their articles. More important to improving Wikipedia would be the requirement for source citation being better-enforced.
