All of a sudden I'm getting irrational fears that I never had as a little kid.

I learned to control most of them but a few won't go away. I used to be afraid of heights but I think I conquered it when I went up in the Gateway Arch.

Zinger: I have the urge to jump over railings at the mall. I'm not suicidal but there's some kind of creepy temptation to jump.

Everybody has some sort of phobia. Some are just better at hiding it by pretending they're on top of the world and have everything under controle.

Something's triggering your phobias - which you have always had. Could it be stress? Otherwise you may be now more in touch with who you really are. And that's a very good thing.

You need to medidate and gradually introduce that which triggers your phobia.

One. I'm scared of dark water. So I will not swim in lakes, rivers, or anyplace where I can't see my feet. I won't even wade deeper than my knees in an ocean. And I hate boating for the same reason. If I fell overboard I'd totally panic.

It's totally irrational, and I have no idea why I have this phobia.

Talk about irrational. haha yeah so because I hate socks so much I usually get them for christmas and birthdays as gag gifts. I have a drawer full of socks, I never wear. HahA well. Thats my irrational fear.

My whole life is one big phobia. I'm afraid of heights, water deeper than where my nose is while standing, groups of people (I feel like I'm going to start screaming and run away), the dark, and in movies when someone breaks or gets their neck broken, it makes me cringe and I have nightmares for days. Just writing that is giving me the heebeegeebees.

Swimming. I will go in the pool and have fun, but I wont go in the deep end. My feet have to be touching the bottom so I am near the 4 or 5 foot area. also, bugs. even flies scare me.

I'm not really claustrophobic, but I'm a bit hesitant to take elevators ever since I was stuck in one for about 15 minutes.

I have a fear of a werewolf biting me while trying to kill Dracula and the birds will peck out my eyes after eating grape-flavored corn on a Monday afternoon. So freaky....

I forget what it is called but I am mesmerized by heights in that you want to jump. It is the strangest feelng but then your senses kick in and remind you that you will be dead meat.

Tons-crashing while I'm driving, being homeless, getting lost, and ending up as the old crazy cat lady.
