Well from my experience gaining trust from men was a big issue for me. I had to learn and grow from the mistakes that men make and or have made in my life. What I learned is that there is no coming back in trusting a person once they've messed up. For an example a cheater or lier.

Long distance relationships never work. That's just my opinion because you are always left with not knowing whats really going on being that you don't really see the other person as much. I personally couldn't take it when my boyfriend and I were in different colleges in different states. Although I trusted him a great deal I missed him like crazy and us visiting each other every other weekend really wasn't working for us. We decided to get an apartment together and go to the same college. We've been happy every since.

A long distant relatonship never works for long. If he & she are already experiencing difficulty in trust, then I say for-get-it! Trust is very important in a relationship. There are too many factors to consider, we are human beings and have needs that are not being met by our significant other, which leaves us to be tempted by some one that is closer NOW! A relationship needs to be tended to and nutured regularly, so, phone calls will eventually not be enough, trips back n forth become expensive, ergo one of you will just give up. Cut your loses and break free. If some day the time is right, the feelings are there, then go for it, not right now, it is selfish to hold on to something that you cant do nothing with.

Honest and trust is the key to a long healthy relationship. Although when you first date a person, never give them all your trust, but slowly gain from it from your knowlege about who that person really is. As for you, don't do anything that would make him distrust you. Always tell the truth, don't lie to him. The only way you can gain trust from somebody is that you show them that you don't lie.

trust shouldn't have to be gained - if her intentions are true and you guys think you can make a long distance relationship work, go for it - it takes alot of work but you guys can do it

The first answerer was correct. Honesty builds trust. And in my own relationship with my man, I find that it's important to share even things that we sometimes keep to ourselves, such as feelings, emotions, and insecurities.

Be truthful and you will earn his trust.

Honesty builds trust across all gender lines. But it wouldnt hurt to show trustworthy actions. sometimes a womans 'mysterious' ways can lead to doubt of her character and cause distrust.

well trust and honesty go hadn in hand and if there is none its pretty hard to get. i mean he would be spending every waking moment talking to you and stuff that is not right if you dont trust him and hes already done something well then this is not to be and its best to find it out now.
