High school yes. But its NEVER to later to start school again. Remenber no matter what, pass or fail you will get something out of the class.

Adding: my girlfriend started going back at 36 and she now 3 classes away from a double major.

Absolutely not! You should never stop learning. There was this woman in the news last week who earned her Master's degree at age 94. However, it depends what grade you left off in. If you're talking about college, I think you'll be quite comfortable on campus- when I was in college it seemed like over half of my classmates were 25 or older. However, if it is high school you want to finish, you might be more comfortable going to night classes or a GED course, so you don't have to be 25 years old, sitting in a history class with a bunch of 16-year-olds. You know? Good luck to you.

If we are talking about college - NOT AT ALL.

My college roommate was 26 years old and we had great time together even though I was 18.

As long as you don't smell like an old person and don't need a cane to walk, 25 is not too old for college.

For high school, it's still not too late. However, you will feel more at ease doing GED or some online high school diploma program.

25?? Are you kidding, that's young. A lot of colleges offer a continuing studies program for 25 and older. I am currently at LaSalle University and I am 26. I am the youngest in my classes and I have it easy. All these other women have husbands and kids to take care of too along with their studies. No one is ever too old to go back to school no matter what level. You should be proud of yourself for wanting a better education. Good Luck.

What type of school are you thinking of going back to...high school, college, grad school? No matter what type of degree or diploma you are looking for, you can never be too old to go back to school. However, if you are concerned about being an adult in school with adolescents, you can look for an online program or a night or weekend program in your area that is designed for working adults. Good luck!

Twenty-five is not too old to go back to school. You would be surprised at how many 30 and 40 year olds are in colleges and universities these days.

Hell no. I went back to school at 31 and with two kids. The profs sometimes would take it easier on me because they knew the demands of my life and that I did not have the time needed to spend in study groups.(which they help, a lot). Not only that, but you dont have the time to worry about trying to fit in, hopefully at 25 you know where you fit in.
A degree is priceless in our global market economy, but its not the easiest thing to attain, thats why its worth it.

Elementary school? Too old.
High school? While you wouldn't be able to attend a standard high school, you can certainly get your equivalency diploma, and there will be lots of other people your age in the class - many older than you.
And you can absolutely go back to college!

No. In fact, it's a great age, as both admissions officers and potential employers recognize that you've probably got the maturity to approach school with a better attitude than the younger kids.

Just be sure to choose a major that you'll be able to use.
