I think I like asking more too… ^_^
Although I have more answers than questions, that is only because of the whole points system which they deliberately set up that way so that people will participate more by answering more than they ask, that way it will not be just a site asking a bunch of questions with no answers. Ha Ha! I also know that sound you are talking about too (if you have Y! IM installed on your computer, it alerts you to when new emails come in) and I always get a little excited to see what new answers and who has answered me – especially if it is someone I know, and who usually gives good answers.
I also am very inquisitive by nature (as it says in my profile) and I always wonder about things which seem pointless or trivial, so it is nice to find answerers who take an interest in things that I think about and questions that I ask. It is especially nice when I get a star or someone becomes a fan because of my questions (or answers) because I find new friends that way who share in my thinking and interests. Cheers!

no longer particularly. I seem to locate that many questions are very almost each and every of the comparable questions are being asked over & as quickly as extra. often on the Singles & relationship type. the only questions i'm asking or answering are unique questions that has been asked not often or no person has ask in any respect. i could placed up a effortless question yet provided that its a final hotel. those days, i'm finding for unique inquiries to respond to or ask. i assume some human beings experience the comparable way & that is why much less human beings come right here & participate.

I like asking questions better, but I barely do that because I don't like losing 2 points (as I do usually choose a best answer). I love seeing the answers from people.

Well, considering that I have as of yet not asked a question on Y!A, I would have to say that answering questions (like this one for example) is much more fun than asking a question-at least for me that is.

answering...its fun because you get to say things like "well my monkey ate a banananana once and then scratched his bootay" to questions like "who is the president?" it is quite amusing......
