I think they look like over stuffed sausages. If you are a real friend shouldn't you help that person find something that is more flattering. This is not ment to be hateful it's just that I see these people at the mall and in the Airport and think did ya even look in the mirror.

I never understood that either...plus they must be very uncomfortable. I guess, they refuse to admit their weight problem....but wearing clothes that are too tight, just accentuates the problem. Someone in their family or a friend should offer them advice like "wear your true size, you'd look better" As far as looking in the mirror...they probably don't. Their mirror is not their friend...I am not being mean-spirited, but it it is the truth. Not only do they look funny, they are doing their bodies and health a great dissservice...overeating. It kills me too, when I see people, men and women, wearing shorts/pants or shirts that look 4 sizes too small....it could be too, they have no fashion sense at all....or self-esteem.

Even people who aren't too skinny try to wear clothes that are too small I find.
Alot of people think the smallest size they can stuff themselves into is their size.
I think its a better idea to stuff yourself into the smallest size possible, then go up a size, and THAT next size up is your size.
People don't want to look bigger by wearing more material, but they are actually doing the opposite by show casing their rolls- over weight or not.
When your clothes fit well you look like your supposed to be that weight, not like you put on 5 pounds but are wearing the same clothes from when you were thinner.

Blame it on Hollywood and the rest of the fashion industry. Too much peer pressure, particularly for the young set. For many people, exterior appearance seems to be more important than what's inside a person. Sad but true.

They're in denial! A good friend could steer them in the right direction without hurting their feelings.
