School starts on August 23, I'm so excited, I get to miss the 2nd day of school for a concert by the Goo Goo Dolls!! What grade are you going to be in?

im an assistant teacher at a school that i work out, but the kids don't start school till august 27th....grrrr...what happened to the good old days when school use to start after labor day? don't they do that anymore?
