Not legally, at least without making "the proper arrangments for the payment of duty". Actually, kerosene's too "hot" for a normal diesel. If you read the labels on those cans of diesel injector cleaner in Halfords etc you'll see that they're basically kerosene.
I have a buddy who's an aircraft engineer and runs his ancient Escort on 50/50 diesel & turboprop/jet fuel - which is basically kerosene. He says. It is alleged. M'Lord.

Hi

You can add kerosene to the fuel tank and it will clean the fuel system out but I wouldn't run the vehicle on pure kerosene.

It will run, but illegal in the UK as kerosene not taxed as road fuel. Also it has very low lubricating properties and will destroy the injector system

yes it is take no notice of 203 I used to drive a hgv in the 50s and 60s and I used white spirit because I got it free. a diesel engine will run on almost any liquid within reason.does not do them much good though

Not really,

the diesel engine has been made to run on the ignition characteristics of diesel, as such it runs very high compression to ignite the fuel(and no spark plugs), therefore not even gasoline will work on a diesel.
if you had the "project" of making this workit would be quite a challenge.

Yes it does, but you have to mix it with cooking or chip oil,but strain the oil first.I'm not sure how you mix it.I reckon if you have a look round the internet you'll find something. My mate does it all the time. It's not illegal and it's better for the envoirenment.Good luck.

i understand they sell oil warmers that would use waste oil from oil transformations etc, yet im unsure in case you need to use a regular oil furnace. i understand this doesnt answer your query, regardless of the undeniable fact that it would supply you with yet another decision.

Yes but it has no lubriating properties and will destroy the injection pump very quickly.
