Aware? YES.
There is far too much commentary already than there should be.

Suffer from it? NO.
This whole issue reminds me of the nuclear weapons frenzy that was going on in the eighties. Nothing horrible ever actually happened.

Oh, the world's aware of it alright. It's just too lazy to do anything about it. As usual, our procrastinating society will wait until the last minute to try taking any course of action against it. Isn't that a comforting thought?

Mostly, but the real question is, will the media and politicians and those with an agenda feed the world a bunch of BS about global warming, just like they did with Y2K, global cooling, overpopulation, under-population. killer bees and such.

Sure, but think about this, water in it;s solid form displaces the same amount on it's liquid form. this means that if every single peice of ice in the ocean(this excludes galceirs etc.) melted the water wouldn't rise an inch.
