Here is a few things I have thought of:

1. hot water, dish soap, little bleach
2. lemonade extract soaking on area for hour
3. vinegar soaking on it for hour
4. painting laminate with a heat resistant coatings.

I don't think laminate is such a good idea on any area where there are high temperatures because laminate is not fire resistant, so hopefully you will rethink having this laminate on the counter for safely purposes.

Good luck!

I have tried to clean burns with Comet Soft Scrub and then let household bleach set on the spot for a while and repeat a couple of times. The results will be depending on the depth of the burn, all the way through nothing will help.

If a burn or stain on your laminate countertop is light brown, you may be able to remove it by covering it with a thick paste of baking soda and water. Let the mixture sit for 20 minutes, theb scrub it all off.

This happened to me once. I took the opportunity of setting four ceramic tiles into the affected area so I had a permanent place to stand hot pans.
