No! When you are in another state...you have to abide by their state laws. You may get off with a warning for a first offense

I'm guessing that you are 16- licensed to drive in your state.
What state has a higher age for driving? There may be restrictions as to who may ride with you and after-sunset driving and the like, but if you hold a valid out-of-state license
you should be good to go.
