"31in under my boobs 35in around and 33 above"

here's the fit... ☺

31+5 = 36 (would be the band but that 33 above over rides that measurement, we still use it for the cup)

35-36 = -1 (-1" is a AAA, 0" is a AA)

The 33" becomes confirmation for band size and is rounded to 34" (this simply means that your waist size is not proportioned to your body yet, expect a change before long in your chest measurements)

that means you measure to a 34AAA

a 36AA has the same size cup as a 34AAA but has a larger band. The cup on an A (unless padded) will be too large based on your measurements.

If your underbust measurement is 31 inches, you probably need a 32 band.
Cup sizes are relative, so a 36D, for example, is quite big, but a 30D is much smaller. D cups are not always as big as you would think.
If the cups of the 34A bra fit, then you should try a 32B. If the 32B is too small, then try a 32C etc.
A 35 inch bust with a 31 inch underbust would normally be 32C.

Here is the bra fitting guide from my website: http://www.belladonnaeyes.co.uk/bra_fitting_part_01.htm

I do ramble on a bit, but there are some useful fitting tips there as well. I hope you find it helpful!

Bras are like every other piece of clothing. What may fit in one size in one brand, won't fit in the same size in another brand. And the 'way to measure' varies depending on where you look and who you talk to. Some say add 5", some say add 4". I know it's very annoying too. I just bought 3 bras and had to return them once because they didn't fit.

You either have to try them on, beginning with what you think is your size......or.....select a brand and try going to their website and maybe they will have the 'how to measure' for their particular bras. This is what I did with Bali, where they even showed what bras were available in that size. Then I just selected several I liked the look of and went back to the store. They fit great.

Victoria's Secret tends to run a bit small some times so definitely try on things there.

DO NOT trust victoria secret ANYTHING for sizing.

Go to Nordstroms or JCPenneys or Sears to get sized.

You are a 36A, 36AA, or 36AAA...

31 inches plus 5 since its an odd number (you'd add 4 if it was an even number) is 36 for your band size.

With 35 being your breast measurement, you should be either a A, AA or a AAA.

Go get professionally measured, then work off of that measurement since bra sizes are not the same across different brands. I am a 38C in one bra and a 38DD in another.

according to that you'd be a 36A.

ribcage (31 in) + 5 = band size, 36

band size (36) - around measurement (35) = 1 = A Cup

In response to your edit, even though different brands and stores can list the same sizes on their bras I've found they're all different. I wear like 3 different sizes depending on brand and style. The best way to go is to have a bra-fitting to get an idea about your size and then try on a TON to land the size and style that look best on you and that feel the most comfortable.

34a means measurment around your boobs and "a" is your cup size (small). some fat girls have 38a which means although circle around their back is 38 inch but their cup size is small.
