And it was so far numbed that you thought it wasn't there. No pins and needles, no movement at all.

I once woke up after sleeping on top of BOTH my arms and couldn't feel them AT ALL! It was quite the comic circus act to try and roll over and get out of bed. It was like I had two wet noodles instead of arms.

atleast a couple of days a week this happens to me. My circulation is so bad, that I can't lay any other way but flat on my back with my legs straight and my arms to my side or i wake up with one of my arms or legs numb. Even if one foot slides off the side of the bed a little, it goes numb.

Yes, and it's really scary. It was my arm and it felt like dead weight. I would lift it up and it would just drop to my side, I couldn't get my fingers to wiggle, nothing. I think I had slept on it all night and it had caused the circulation to cut off.

I had a family friend who actually OD and laid on his arm for a very long time (before someone found him) They were able to save him, but had to amputate the arm because of the lack of circulation for such a long time.

If it happens again, go to the doctor and get everything checked out. Just to be safe.

Yes, it's not nice, it's totally freaky. I've also woken up with horrible pins and needles manys a time in my legs and I hate it.

Yes, that usually happens if you put all your weight on it all night. It's like when your foot falls asleep, only you were laying on it for about 8 hours, so you don't feel it at all. The feeling should go away in about 10 minutes; if it doesn't, you should see a doctor.

All the time, I always lie on my arm and wake up in a panic that it isn't there. When I realise it is with my other hand I panic that I'll never get the feeling back. Then go back to sleep.

I actually got scared cause i thought my arm was "dead"... but after i shook it around a few times with my other hand, the feeling started to come back. it was the weirdest thing ever

Yeah, that sucks- it's usually my hand or arm because I sleep with my right arm under my pillow, and sometimes the weight of my head makes my hand all numb. It's sort of scary, isn't it?

Yes, definitely. I sometimes stretch an arm up over my head while I'm sleeping and it goes completely dead. I have to grasp it with my other hand and move it down to my side; then it comes back to life. Kind of creepy!
