The most surprising scene you've ever seen?

The one in Ghost Ship where an entire dance floor of people gets cut in half. They all stand there looking about as if to say, "What the hell just happened?" and then start falling apart to the floor. It was nasty, it was repulsive, and at the same time it was a GREAT effect.

driving down the road near midnight in this then mostly rural area and coming upon a smashed up car with smoke coming out of it just sitting in the middle of the road and sideways. i went to a payphone to call and they said someone already reported it. when i returned, there were two guys there and the driver was laying along side the car. he died not long after at the scene.

i don't know why, but for some reason, i have memories of a dead kitten with part of its face missing. i am not sure if i really saw that or if i dreamed it as a child though and it stuck in my head...

When the two walked the boardwalk and rolled past go until they ended up in jail. That was a great scene.....calmness, happiness, and sadness all at the same time.

I was at a carnival once and this guy got stuck on a ride and he was freaking out. The man in charge of the machine was trying to get him out and when he did the man that was stuck started beating the guy, I was 5 and so scared, my mom and dad where laughing though.

A woman letting her child poo on the floor in a bus station in front of hundreds of people. Fair enough if there were no toilets around but there were plenty, She pulled his pants straight back up without even cleaning him and just left this huge pile of crap on the floor. Disgusting.

i got a good one..one day i was driving on the highway and all of a sudden a car fell onto the highway from the overpass..the craziest thing i've ever seen..miraculously the person walked out of the car. he was limping but he was fine.and can u believe there were no cars on the highway hit...backed up traffic for hours though..

I saw my neighbor's 5yo boy fall 20 ft off of a rope swing ON TO HIS HEAD and get up and walk away. Freaking scarey. He checked out perfectly fine at the doctor.

At the end of "Newhart" when Bob woke up as if he had just been dreaming the whole show ... that was mind blowing.

Also, on M*A*S*H, when Radar told everyone that Henry's plane was shot down and that there were no survivors.

I was in college and a fight was going on at a street corner. I went over to see what was happening and this chick was throwing punch after punch to this guys head. He had his head covered with his arms and telling her to knock it off. She kept on hitting him and getting in a few good blows when all of a sudden he turned and cold-cocked her. Knocked her out. He said, 'I told you to knock it off.' Then he turned and walked away. They had to call an ambulance for the girl. Hey, you live by the sword and you die by it.
