One game, no matter the score, means nothing.

In 2000, the last year they won the Series, the Yanks lost games by scores of 12-2, 17-412-4, 11-1 (3 times) and 11-3. Good teams get over losses, no matter the score.

One game should not be used to judge a team. I don't like the Yankees, but they are still a contender.

Yes, it was an embarrassing loss. However, they still are one of the best teams in the league, and are the best team since the all-star break. Met fans shouldn't talk about who is or isn't the best team, if the Mets (best team in the NL) were playing in the AL they would only lead the WILD CARD by a half game and only because they've played one more game.

Yes, it is true and they lost the next day as well. Every year, there is one team that beats the Yankees no matter how well they play. Last year, it was Tampa Bay. This year, it's Baltimore.

Yes they have steroid users, highly paid players who don't do anything and they are now building a new stadium and yet have still the most money among the MLB teams. Yes they did lose but if you want to catch up with your sports, just watch ESPN, they'll teach you everything you need to know about the Yankees, they are the only thing they talk about besides Tim Donaghy and his gambling problem and Mike Vick and his dogfighting

Yes, but there are 162 games a season. Good teams will lose to bad teams at least 10-20 times a year, no doubt.

yes and they were at home to top it off, then they lost the next day 6-3. i loved every minute of it, even tho the orioles are not in the running, it feels good to see them beat a good team, and beat them badly!

Yes they did.

Well having the best record since the All-Star break means they are a very good team. You are just an ignorant person.

yes unfortunatley it is true but i think after a winning streak you need to have a bad game it just happens that way. and also the reason why they lost was because phil razuto died #10
