Well I'm gonna make this quick,

when they first invented this 'skinny dipping' in england, it was origannily called 'skin dipping' or 'skin dip' but ppl started saying skinny dipping, the slang version for it and it passed onto America.

so it's more of a skin-ny thing not skin, so obese ppl can go skinny dipping all they want, no matter what it's called
